selling them so please dont ask.
Brian
you have to open "Tbdtool"
select races
add rae you want to include
then as you move along the database you will have to input the dice that have
to be rolled in one coloumn then in the very next coloumn input a number -
this is the amount of dice that will be rolled;
Example;
Human - str 3d6 4 this will mean that 4d6 are rolled for the stat but it
will only count upto 18.
Hope it helps

For the RQ3 Character creator from what Ive seen so far, It rocks.
My personally favorite critter was a suped up Jabber wocky I created
It had regeneration and could deliver a firebal blast...((Eyes of
flame))So far very few managed to Hurt the damned thing Much less
kill it.
I once created a chaos vampire for a bunch of players who thought
there characters where invincible.
It used the chaos features from all sources and had 8 of them, the
worst was from a RQ supplement called "QuestWorld" the chaos feature
allowed the creature to drain 2d6 points of a stat on a succesful hit
that perertrated armour. My vampire drained 7 ponts from
Intellegence, not that bad until you consider that the drain is
permanent and effects nearly all bonuses and the amount and
effectiveness of there spells.
The other feature of note that it had was also from "QuestWorld" and
its effect was to "double all percentages when imersed in water".
Suprisingly the party did manage to drive it off but could not finish
the job.

I am curious what was the best Monster or race you ever concocted for
RQ This could be something you converted from another game or
something you pulled out of your ass one gaming day.
Personally I think the best guideline is the Wiccan "Three fold Law"
basically meaning that a miscast spell comes back three fold on the
caster...
It can be easily adapted but using the Rule of opposite
intent..Healings Damage the recipient and/or the caster. Damage
spells attack the caster Instead...Summonings are pretty well handled
by the rules...Spells like bladesharp give negative bonuses..you get
the idea.
Personally, I usually follow the Feed-back concept...
On a Fumble the spell is reversed back onto the caster who takes the
damage/transformation etc. Enchantments Hinder the Item in question..
(Blade sharp becomes a negative enhancement to hit and damage,
Healing spells do damage to recipient and caster that sort of thing.
I'll try to come up with something later on and put it in the files
section.

The basic rule I use is that Fumbles cause the reverse effect than
the caster intended..Healing spells cause damage...Blade sharps give
negative bonuses instead of positive ones...etc..for critical
fumbles...It is usually a very bad thing...best left up to your
imagination.
You could try the feed-back concept..based on the wiccan three fold
law (Basically misused spells come back to the caster three fold)
Healings become damage, Beserk becomes calm...etc...Spirit Magic
causes the person to enter spirit combat where they Must win or
become possesed or worse...Enchantments have a negative effect etc...
I always understood Fumbles to cause the opposite effect than what
was intended, The SUmmoning fumble rules had some good ideas...
A good idea as to what I mean is Healing spells cause damage to the
recipient, Blade sharps giving negative bonuses instead of positive
ones, Glue spells become grease etc...Usually common sense is the
best guide...
I have managed to aquire a massive amount of spells for RuneQuest but the one
thing i am missing is a decent "Spells Fumble" table.
Can any of you help with this please ???

And I was wondering if you guys knew of any resources of RQ'ed
European deities in the past.
Although I am creating My own pantheon I would like to see how the
other more recognizable deities were handled.
THanks in advance.

I am working on a couple more projects Like the warhammer Language
chart for RQ and some other ideas...I also added a few more links..so
I have a question.
Does anyone else have some new ideas?
One of the greatest Helps Ive had was the invention of the Fudge Rpg
System Published by Grey Ghost games...Stephan O'Sullivan came up
with a way to blend the stats of different Rpg's to make a rather
interesting cross genre sessions.
Here goes My Idea as to how a conversion would work.
S/T %stats Siz/Int 3-18b
- 1-3 5 3
1 4-10 6-8 4-5
2 11-30 9-11 6-8
3 31-70 12-13 9-12
4 71-90 14-15 13-15
5 91-97 16-18 16-17
6 98-00 19-21 18-19
to switch races, figure out the dice of a particular race, Keep In
Mind that the averages will be pretty low. So a Goblinoid character
will Not be really bright...and Snotlings May have a fixed INT
according to the 3rd edition RuneQuest Rules. If you need to Fudge
the Other stats by Using the Siz/INT table for the stats...
Here are the equivilents:
Str=S
Con=T
Siz=Is usually the creature's description
Int=Int
Pow=CL
App=Fel
Move= M
Siz table:
2-4'= 1-5
4-5'= 6-10
5-6'= 11-15
6-7'= 16-20
7-8'= 21-25
8-9'= 26-30
9-10'= 31-35
10-11'=36-40
11-12'=41-45
Skills should be simply taken over from the RQ third edition.
and character professions should be roled on the RQ table...More to
come later on.
