A fantasy PBEM unlike others



The Dawn of Time is set on a primordial world much like our own thousands of
years ago when mankind was a young, struggling and often savage race fighting to
carve out a niche among merciless nature and its own rival races. Life was hard,
often short and brutal, civilization was forming and many hard lessons awaited
humanity in the long climb; its eventual dominance or even survival wasn't
assured or even particularly likely among stronger, deadlier predators and other
humanoids seeking their place as well.



The characters as members of a small tribe must struggle to survive armed with
simple tools, fire and their own courage and intellect. But there is an
additional tool at their and mankind's disposal, on this world magic is real.
Spirits inhabit the land, waters and sky, mythic beasts roam and gods offer
blessing. There are stranger powers as well waiting to be discovered.



Dawn of Time is a Fantasy Hero PBEM set in a Stone Age world similar too but not
our Earth. The characters will all be members of a small tribe of humans
struggling to not just survive but prosper in a primal dangerous world. The game
will contain adult subject matter including violence and sexuality. Many of the
conventions and taboos of our world have yet to form in this one. Emotions and
thoughts are primitive and savage with few of the restraints seen in modern
humanity. Players should be prepared for some aspects that may disturb them and
18+ years of age. The general feel is similar movies like Quest For Fire and
Clan of the Cave Bear, the Earth's Children novels and other works. Scientific
accuracy isn't paramount or particularly emphasized. Knowledge of the system
isn't required.
