for mature minded role players (this is not an 'erotic' game, but may include

a detailed character background, and should use the 'point build' system

Description:

This site is for the development and creation of erotic or romance STORIES. The
development of characters, plot, and setting are instrumental to the enjoyment
of this site by ALL members. We encourage the use of spell and grammar check to
facilitate the creation of stories; and, accept joint posting or play by post
methods but do ask that structured posts containing 2-3 paragraphs be utilized.

The genres and aspects of character abilities can be widely varied, and are left
up to the story crafters to decide upon. However, members of EROS are encouraged
to delve into the depths of their imaginations to develop rich characters and
vibrant story threads. The rating can be as PG to X rated as desired, but should
not be the sole focus.

We do ask that only those dedicated to writing and role playing join in. NO

I am currently seeking 2-3 players to add to a long-running D&D 3.5 game over
AIM.  The game has been running for about 2 years now with a shifting cast of
characters, though I've had one central character through the entire run.  Right
now the two characters have become involved in a tight-knit personal plot that
hasn't allowed much room for other characters.  However once this leg of the
campaign is completed I'm going to be opening the plot up and taking in more
characters.  While this probably won't be happening until after Thanksgiving, I
thought I'd start advertising now to get things squared away.

A general pitch of the plot:


The Empire of Hiaman has stood for almost a thousand years, the beacon of
culture and civilization in the east for centuries.  But recent war with dark
powers has ravaged the kingdom, laying waste to the countryside and decimating
the houses of the nobility.  Though the forces of darkness have been driven from
the land, the king lies dead without an heir and now a struggle greater than any
foreign invasion may wrack the kingdom.  Civil war has erupted as factions vie
for the empty throne, as alliances are formed and oaths sworn and broken.  The
kingdom, drained and bankrupted to fight off invasion, now totters on the edge
of collapse.  Once the dust of internal chaos and civil anarchy settles, once
the throne is again filled, there may not be anything left worth ruling over. 
When neighbor turns to enemy overnight and when the lines of war are drawn in
the blood of kin and countrymen, the only law is the law of the sword.


The game will focus on political intrigue and games of power, with a healthy
dose of bitter war and hard battle.  The atmosphere of the world and the plot
will be a more down to earth, realistic setting that will still allow for the
trappings of traditional high fantasy.  So, in other words, don't expect to be
doing a lot of dungeon delving, unearthing fantabulous magical artifacts, or
fighting outlandish monsters.  Think more along the lines of the Wars of the
Roses, The Tudors television series, or George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and
Fire book series, rather than J.R.R Tolkien or R.A. Salvatore.

Characters will start at 10th level, and I'm open to working on extensive
backgrounds to fit characters into the milieu of the game world.

The game currently runs on Thursday evenings from 9pm-12 am EST.  The time is
somewhat negotiable and subject to change, given school schedules and the like.

Synopsis:
Torchwood is currently looking for two new members to join their team in addition to their `unofficial' bodyguard, Arwen.  Owen and Toshiko have been killed, and the crisis with the 456 has been adverted.  The Rift is acting up, and spilling alien life-forms and artifacts into Cardiff.  The team is busier than ever, and become surprised when the Doctor visits.

The Doctor had learned that he was not the only survivor of the time-locked Time War, and had taken on a Time Lord orphan of that war, Elita.  However what Carmen, a low level psychic, had told him during his adventure to the Planet of The Dead gave him the chills.  He two had sensed the Rift's increasing activity and decided to investigate with his charge in tow.

Now Torchwood must work with the Doctor to figure out how to stop a disaster from destroying the universe.  Only time will tell if the Doctor, Elita, and Torchwood can fix the Rift…

In 2018, John Connor and the Resistance launched an assault on SkyNet that was
supposed to bring an end to the production of all machines.

They failed.

SkyNet knew they were coming. It took precautions, building a secret production
facility in British Columbia, and an underground prison base in Alberta. It used
humans, experimented on them, forced them to partake in the creation of newer,
more advanced machines. And forced them to destroy their fellow man.

Quadrant that leads directly to the Azure Nebula. From there the Collective used

Allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Christopher Boone, and I'm the new CO
of the USS Guinevere (http://www.ussguinevere.t35.com), an Excalibur-Class
starship in Task Force 21 of Obsidian Fleet (http://www.obsidianfleet.net).

As the Subject line says, the Guinevere needs a crew.  I have some plots that
I'd like to run, and I certainly think that they have the potential to be very
good and interesting plots - but obviously I can't really run those plots if
there's no one else in the sim.  And that, my good fellow simmers, is where you
come in.  I'm hoping that you're willing to conisder joining the Guinevere and
participating in these plots.

I won't promise that you will have the best time of your life or that the
Guinevere will be the greatest sim ever (I know that there's a lot of
competition for that particular title, and rightly so!), but if you're an

General Abernathy, code named Hawk has been tasked with the creation of a
formable fighting force that draws it's members from various military forces.
This team would be called G.I. Joe, a daring, highly-trained, Special Mission
