Tax calculation taken as total worth (including any community
lots owned) at the end of Sunday night. Payable from Monday
morning. I buy each family the appropriate amount of moneyorders, then
add the correct amount of funds and select the person going to pay. Then
depending on how much money they have, pay as many of these as possible.
Some families do not finish paying their taxes until Thursday or Friday, as
they have to raise the money.
Peasants – 1% to each Merchant household; 5% to each
Noble; 20% to each Royal
Merchants – 5% to each Noble; 15% to each Royal
Nobles – 10% to each Royal; 1% to Church
Royal – 10% to Church; 1% to Army
Church – 1% to each Peasant
Army – 1% to Church for each injured soldier residing
there; 1% to each Army Widow
Science/Witch – 0% to everyone J ; 2nd
Science household pays 5% to 1st
I’m actually considering changing the system to having
Peasants and Merchants associated with specific Nobles, as my hood is getting
so big that the merchants are the ones struggling to pay every noble. (Now having
9 Peasant households, 7 Merchant, 5 Noble and 2 Royals)
All the best
Lucy

alot of you talk about taxes and stuff, but i have no idea where to even start
with that. what do you use? hacks? gifts? where can i get a hack if you use

sorry for wasting our time, but thanks anyway!
In attempt to get some life going in this group again I thought I'd post another discussion question. In your kingdom, do you have extra rules that your...
In a word, yes. In much more than a word, I've come up with a ton more rules, mostly to accomodate "new" expansions (I have them all). For instance, for ...
Would you mind sharing your rules in more detail? Especially the career rules. I may use some. I have all the expansions too, and all but the 3 newest stuff...
Lol, well, my rules sheet (including original challenge rules) runs to 10 pages, so that might be overkill. However, the career rules are relatively easy: ...
Not sure if this is what you're asking for: Most of my rules are about money, to make sure that there isn't too much of it. Really, the peasants could live...
I'm having the same problem with Peasants & money that you are, fourth_moon -- namely, they've got too much of it. So far, I've been solving the problem by...

For my new kingdom I'm just using familyfunds cheat to reduce/increase the amount of family money accordingly. This is my first real attempt at an RKC...
Lucy, I have mine divided into houses and have 3 noble houses and the Royal house which is actually the house currently in power. Each house has a few ...
... I haven't actually started playing the challenge yet so haven't used any tax system but in answer to your question about how it's done, here are some...
I'm not using hacks and my tax system is very loose. Please keep in mind that in create a sim I only made 1 family for each class and they all started out with...
Yeah, I no longer play for the RKC. I'm more into story telling and the like because, for me, the RKC gets old pretty fast. Hopefully I'll have my story about...
... I pretty much explain everything i do new rules etc here http://behindgrimstead.wordpress.com/ I have alot of custom rules etc it's way to hard to explain...
... I have a lot of trouble keeping my Peasants in the Peasants range of money. In my Last RKC it was actually the Merchant family who nearly starved to death...
The main way i keep my peasant's poor is by limiting thier career progression. Peasants fall into 2 brackets. 1) workers - These peasants work on farms or are...
