About a month ago I was sitting on my couch watching a DVD when, what I considered at the time, a great idea hit me like a ton of bricks. "X-Men: The Last Stand" was about to come out and I was getting back on an X-Men kick. I decided that I would get to work on an "X-Men: Evolution" game. I thought it would be interesting to have a game set a few years after the series finale. My original concept was to do something similiar to the now renamed and still very active and popular "Tales of Gotham" (www.groups.yahoo.com/group/talesofgotham). That game is very story driven with the owner mapping out a complete story arc that her players flesh out. It's a great game and one that I am very proud to be a moderator of.

So I got to work on the whole thing. I created the gaming group on yahoo. I then created the discussion group in the same manner that Tales of Gotham does. I put together an in-depth opening story arc that will involve all characters. Hell, I even created a banner for the group. I also got sponsorship from two fansites for "X-Men: Evolution" (Beyond Evolution at http://x-men.toonzone.net and Kataclysm's X-Men: Evolution Page at http://evolution.eracerx.com).

Once I got it all togeter, I began advertising it. You may have seen them. I got only eight players interested. I don't think it's enough to actually get a game moving. So I ask, what am I doing wrong? What can I do to gather more interest in my game? Below I provide the link to my game. I am thinking about moving it from yahoo to a forum. Please advise...
