I like Risus so much that I bought the Excessively Deluxe package, which is now
possibly my favorite object in the house.
Man, I bought the book more than 3 years ago and still haven't sent for my
International Order of Risus card...I must be really lazy, WAIT, NO, I've been
spending all that time writing awesome Risus stuff and putting it on Risusiverse
lol
Anyways, enough rambling from me. I like the idea of additional punishments
besides just losing dice. It could make for much more intense battles, if PCs
new they could lose more than just their lives.
In the end, when it comes to house rules, all you have to do is ask 2 questions.
Am I happy with the changes? Are my players happy with the changes?
If the answer to both is yes, you're good to go. And if your players aren't
happy with your changes, ask them what they're not happy with. I find it funny
that a lot of DMs I know think they can fix everything that's wrong with the
campaign themselves, when the players outnumber them :-)
