This is an unmoderated group for discussion of Risus: The Anything RPG by S. John Ross (available for free at http://www222.pair.com/sjohn/risus.htm ). Though unmoderated, most of the discussion should be about the game itself or campaigns using Risus rules. Prolongued off-topic discussions are strongly discouraged. ... If memory serves, they are power dice and serve the same function as Lucky Shots. I think PDQ is more like Risus than Dice Chucker. The real difference is

Definitely the Risus mechanics is the way to go. It is that most of the stunts are tied to the Fate mechanics and I'd have to transliterate the cliche. Sadly

In that case, I don't think it's a matter of making up a new Risus mechanic; it's a matter of using the Risus mechanics to do what you want. Don't get hung up
