Hi,

I did a new RekoNet update including new cardsets and some new stuff.

- Some more Soliton cardsets
- Updated programs
- Added Collection sets (For the moment 2 sets, more to come)
   - If you like a certain topic and want to make a collection yourself,
     send me a set of up-to 15 cardsets, the cardset texts and possibly
     comments as plain ASCII
- New soliton variant for all the Amiga cardgame fans
   This directly supports reko cardsets using the reko.datatype and fixes
   some bugs of older version.
- Added a donations button for PayPal. Even little donations are welcome.
   We need altogether about 90EUR a year.

I fixed the groups settings, so these adverts should not come through any
longer. Yahoo added a new option some time ago, which allows to moderate
posts from new members and leaver older members unmoderated.

If I compare the 4700 sent messages with the number of 150 accepted
messages the group seems to be good filtered :-)

Hi all,

RekoNet is back again. You will find at at
http://www.rekonet.org/

I will try to get the old address rekonet.light-speed.de working again,
but cannot promise that.

Thanks to Brian, Allan, Olaf and Vegard who made it possible to get the
thing running again and paid for the first year. Donations are still
wellcome to save the coming years.

I hope to do some updates soon.

Perhaps, but I myself am mostly concerned for Rekonet.

Or if 20 people say I spend 10EUR. Or 40 people spend 5 EUR. The hosting
fee for 2 years is about 200 EUR - at least for the hoster I found.

And this includes an own domain and enough webspace to host your page and
that of Andreas as well including email-adresses for each supporter :-)

So the users decide if RekoNet survives. Maybe Andreas should make a note
on his page as he has main access interface to RekoNet?

I think there where different FTP-accesses as well, so we could start the
"Upload area" as planned for long time now.

It is usually not that RekoNet ist down, but the connection from the
server to the outside is broken. Don't ask me why. Seems the network
admins have some problems.

The stability of the network connection lacks a bit of professionality
here at the university :-) Maybe because the staff gets reduced more and
more.

Thought the current problem was really connected to my server. It has been
fixed now.
