Here are the results; as promised I'll get around to posting my own
personal responses in public, but since this board sucks I'll only be
doing it at Weiner's hsquizbowl board.

Congratulations to Sean Phillips for winning the qbflame/AHAN rare
entries contest with a score of 4. Sean's prize is a date with Jason
Mueller watching Jeopardy in the University of Missouri student
center. Finishing second were Matt Lafer with 6, and third was Paul
Litvak with 12.

Scores are listed below. Note that abstentions counted as 1+n points,
where n was the number of times the most common entry for that
category was submitted. For example, someone abstaining on entry #6
would score 6 points, as the most common entry was picked 5 times.
The bonus entry was purely optional, and as such does not count
towards total scores.

Sean Phillips- 4
Matt Lafer- 6
Paul Litvak- 12
Matt Weiner- 24
Scott Francis- 60
Chris Romero- 108
Chris White- 162
Dan Suzman- 180
Sudheer Potru- 360
Subash Maddipotti- 480
Leo Wolpert- 540
Dan Goff- 2304

For further amusement, here is a list of all the responses that were
given to each category, sorted in order of popularity (i.e. the number
of times that person/team was given as an answer):

Entries:
1. A shitty team that does well by hiding out in novice tournaments/D2
and ducking legitimate competion.
3- Athens State, Penn
2- UCLA
1- Carleton, Florida, Kansas, Maryland

2. A shitty or mediocre player who is always on winning teams but
provides no actual contribution and just rides coattails of superior
teammates.
3- Chad Money
1- Michael Adelman, Michael Davidson, Susan Ferrari, Chris Frankel,
David Isaacson, Seth Kendall, Robert Osborne
(2 abstentions)

3. The player/TD whom you would consider the single worst influence on
the circuit: in terms of effects on the game (e.g. question quality,
format, QB philosophy), not social or personal issues.
2- Tom Michael, Charlie Steinhice
1- Chris Borglum, Matt Bruce, Tom Chuck, Anthony de Jesus, Eric
Hilleman, Samer Ismail, Mike Sorice, David Thorsley

4. A shitty player who frequently makes online posts for thinly-veiled
attempts at self-promotion and becoming part of the "in" crowd.
3- Jason Mueller
2- Stephen Webb
1- Fred Bush, Raj Dhuwalia, Lee Henry, Stan Jastrzebski, Jason
Mueller, Jason Paik, Jerry Vinokurov
(1 abstention)

5. A player who puts up huge numbers on easy questions and giveaways,
but goes to shit on challenging academic questions. In other words,
this is basically a "most overrated player" entry.
3- Jason Keller, Seth Kendall
2- Jason Mueller
1- Jeff Bennett, Michael Davidson, Chris Frankel
(1 abstention)

6. An old fart (active or "retired") who keeps lurking around and
butting in with unsolicited opinions even though it is clear he is not
wanted and few current players know/care who he is. This person must
either be a grad or someone past his early 20's.
5- Doug O?Neal
2- Tom Michael
1- Anthony de Jesus, Brian Hight, Ahmed Ismail, Jason Paik
(1 abstention)

7. A player with an annoyingly egocentric philosophy on question
content (e.g. "This tournament sucked because I didn't know a lot of
the questions; I'm going to respond by writing 5/5 each on my niche
interests in Bulgarian folklore and Antarctic geography in my next
packet!")
3- Susan Ferrari
2- Jason Keller, Dan Passner
1- Ryan Blay, R. Hentzel, Wesley Matthews, Stephen Webb, Chris White

8. A team you absolutely hate to play, not because of their skill
level, but because they're just that damned annoying. This entry is
more concerned with teams who have a collective, gestalt-like air of
annoyance to them; as opposed to a team where you just dislike one
person.
2- Cornell
1- Berkeley, Cal Tech, Carleton, Grinell, Illinois, Monmouth, NYU,
Rochester, Rutgers, Swarthmore

9. A team renowned for its consistent ineptitude in everything QB, be
it hosting tournaments, editing, writing packets, and to a lesser
extent, playing.
2- Missouri, Penn
1- Boston University, Brandeis, Bryn Mawr, Depauw, Georgia Tech,
UC-Irvine, UT-Dallas, Yale

10. The worst player (both in terms of obnoxiousness and playing
ability) you have never beaten in a match. Any college match counts;
it doesn't matter how good his teammates were or how badly you played.
1- Susan Ferrari, Chris Frankel, Josh Hill, Rob Jackel, James Kabala,
Rob Long, Matthew Marjan, Erik Nielsen, Jon Pennington, Dan Suzman,
Andrew Yaphe
(1 abstention)

Bonus: The first poster in the high school boards (must be exclusively
affiliated to high school QB as a player or coach) that you would ban
if you had admin power, based solely on posting content. Note that the
user must be an established one and obvious troll accounts don't
count.
2- ManiacalClown
1- ericblair, kelli, leftsaidfred, MCDoug, Patrick King
