since the two trains take 1 hour to cover the distance between them and the eagle is flying continuously hence in 1 hour the eagle will travel a distance of 80 km.

Puzzle of the day
 
Type: speed x time = distance   level = little difficult
 
There are 2 stations A[Ahmedabad] and B[Baroda] 100 Kms apart.
One engine X starts from A to B at 60 kmph.
Same time another engine Y moves from B to A at 40 kmph.
Same time  one pet eagle of engine X's driver flies at 80 kmph towards Y. it reaches Y and comebacks to X. Again it goes to Y
The Eagle goes on flying till 2 engines X and Y crosses each other. 
How many kilometres travelled by the Eagle?

This is an old puzzle. In one hour, the trains will travel 60 and 40 miles, which covers the 100km distance. In hour, the eagle, flying at 80 mph, flies 80...
