Please join us again tomorrow for another fun session of the Palo Alto Scrabble
Club!
Every Monday 20-30 people get together to play Scrabble at Boston Market, 3375
El Camino Real, in Palo Alto - just for fun.
We meet from 6:00PM to 9:55PM -- all you need to do is just show up.
We're not sponsored by any restaurant or games company-we are just a bunch of
folks who like playing Scrabble!
Our players split into two groups: "Social" and "Competitive." The social
players play leisurely games without a clock. The competitive players use
National Scrabble Association Rules (e.g. use a chess clock to time their
games.)
We provide deluxe boards, tiles and racks. You provide your brain and a
willingness to have fun.
Tomorrow, we will celebrate the anniversary of the 1911 incorporation of the
Tabulating Computing Recording Corporation, now known as IBM.
To celebrate, we will have a prize for the highest scoring play using the
letters "I", "B" and "M" in the main word.
See you tomorrow!
