EOCA (Eastern Ontario Chess Association) events :
(including the 2009 Ontario Open, in Ottawa over the Victoria Day long weekend!)

My next EOCA event will be the RA Spring Open, a regular weekend tournament, to be held at the RA Centre, on the weekend of March 20th-22nd. For all of my regular weekend tournaments now, note that all players are rated both CFC & FIDE, and that we provide simplified convenient email registration.
Sunday chess club for children, weekly in Barrhaven :
The upcoming Spring 2009 session is scheduled to run from April 19th to June 21st, and will likely return to our traditional Sunday evening day/time slot. If you are already part of the ongoing Winter session, then on Sunday, March 29th, you will receive your registration form for the Spring session. If you are not currently part of the ongoing Winter session, then as soon as convenient, please email me to send you your registration form for the Spring session.

Thanks to all the families who have expressed interest, and it seems we have enough healthy interest to proceed. There have been some logistical challenges finding the right location, but we hope to be contacting the interested families with a proposed schedule for Spring, or then for Autumn.
