Morte is nonplussed about the subject.  Less than enthusiastic.

He tried to hang around the monk's library as much as possible, hopeful to get them used to his presence, and from there warm them to further negotiations and exchanges of knowledge.  Maybe even an alliance.  But no.  Certainly not yet. 

And Morte certainly is less than enthusiastic in dealing with his milksop covenent mate, Hora, but... it's in the best interest of Haunted SPring to cooperate
