I'll play the character Lynxana as before :)
Nibelung
The sword and sorcery planet
Nibelung is a planet populated with many different species; humans,
elves, dwarves, orcs, trolls, fairies, goblins, dragons, wyverns,
centaurs, etc. Basically anything found in the fantasy/sword and
sorcery genre is fair game.
Thunderian residents: The Thunderian residents of Nibelung go back
to before the Exodus. The colony is actually descended from Grune's
exiled army. As a result, the Sabertooth clan makes up the majority
of the colony, although lions, tigers, and leopards are well
represented.
Coming from such a martial background and forced to make thier own
way among the war-like races of Nibelung, every Thunderian is taught
how to fight. Cubs are taught the ways of war from the time they're
old enough to hold a weapon up until they come of age (16). After
that, they can train as craftsmen, farmers, hunters, etc. or continue
on in martial training to become professional soldiers.
Technology: None to speak of. Due to a combination of lack of power
sources, lack of knowledge of how to repair worn and broken items and
simple distrust of technology, the Nibelung residents have returned
to thier roots. Thier technological level is on par with the
medieval tools of thier neighbors.
Government: The Nibelung Thunderians follow a queen, sometimes
called the Morrigan. This Morrigan is called Boudicea (Bowd-i-SAY-
ah). She's a young Sabertooth woman who's proved herself a leader
both in battle and in times of peace. She's quite possibly the most
beloved leader in memory and most of her knights would gladly cut off
thier right hands at her request.
While there is no 'council' to speak of, the Queen does has close
advisors, the most trusted of whom is the one-eyed Sabertooth sage
Woden.
Beginning scene:
The ThunderCats will touch down just before the beginning of a great
battle. The Thunderians of Nibelung march on the citadel of Beyonk,
the captial city of the human kingdom of Lat Helit, to free thier
countrymen from the seige of the dark forces (Trolls, dragons,
whatever).
The ThunderCats will encounter a messenger running between the
Thunderians capital city of Catamount and the battlefield after they
first touch down and play will go from there.
We will begin play for Nibelung just as soon as we've established all
our players.
Our present compliment of canon characters is as follows:
Lion-O
Cheetara
Tygra
Panthro: played by me
WilyKit
WilyKat
Lynxana
If anyone wishes to trade off a new ThunderCat for one of the
following, we can always pull a fourth season and say they've stayed
on new Thundera to run the government.
Everyone sound off for a character and we'll start!
Red Lioness
I tease everyone with words of more game-play, thne drop off the face
of the planet. The house should be fixed by the end of March and I'll
be back on-line. Then we'll talk about play.
And a Belated Happy New Year, Valentine's Day and Pre-emptive Happy
St. Patrick's Day from me and the bat colony I now live with.
Seriously.
Red Lioness
Me and Kefira are still alive as well. :) Dunno if I have to repost mine from awhile ago to refresh your memory.

I'm still interested in playing.
I think I'm gonna have to bow out. That means Jackalman and Pumyra will be up for somebody else to play. I just haven't had the energy to keep on top of my email.
Hey all,
I wont be playing in the RPG for a bit, as my nan passed away today.
Phil I belive is looking after Myra for me, so if someone could temp
play Lion-O for me I would be grateful.
I am coming back though, I would imagine in a couple of weeks as I got
to travel back home to my mum and that now.
Thanks
ooc: good to be back in the saddle folks!!
Myra sighed as she looked at the planet before her. It looked worse
that the last. a dump. She disappointedly glanced over to
Schwenk. "Geez isn't there anywhere else better then this?"
"Seems like you cats hide out in all the garbage cans!" he
sniggered.
"Hmm. how original" she shoot back.
"Have to keep them easy for you my dear" he feigned a smile
" and don't forget about you!" Myra smiled.
"Well, honestly! How can we murder all those people in a small
town, surrounded by Thundercats and still get clean away? Such
inspirational leadership....bloody hell. Says an awful lot about
your people!" he sneered "no disrespect of course!"
"of course" Myra sneered.
"Simple leaders for simple folk I guess. Wouldn't know how to solve
crime if it jumped up and bit them on the arse!"
Myra rolled her eyes. "Insulting? it nearly was."
"Oh? Getting a thick skin are we...clearly I'm not trying hard
enough" he went over and stood behind Myra, then he started running
his fingers through her hair.
Myra purred a little in response. "I have go used to it. believe or
not I don't want a repeat of last time I got offended by your
remarks"
"You get offended so easily though....still, can't be easy being an
inferior species, huh?" he walked back to his chair, whistling a
plain little tune, waiting for a response...he would get one, sooner
or later.
"not as easy as being a monkey I'm sure" she said, leaning back in
her chair.
"Really? At least we've lost the fur and gained a bigger brain!" he
snorted
"pity you still haven't figured out how to use it" Myra laughed. He
fell into that one.
"Oh very good, stripey...what's next? Comparing families?"
"I was thinking of something like that yeah why not?" Myra
continued to laugh.
Schwenk was confused....normally Myra hated talking about
families. "No...you're alright this time" he said quietly, hoping
the matter was ended.
Myra laughed harder. "Geez Schwenk. I that is this the first time I
have won one these little games you like to play SO much"
"I don't think it's worth making you cry again, it'll be weeks
before you recover"
"more like you"
"Thanks gorgeous!"
"Your welcome sweet thing!"
"Where are you gonna land us? I'm guessing it has to be in the open
somewhere, otherwise you'll only scratch the paintwork, I know what
you're like! Being a woman AND a stinkin' cat" he said with a
straight face.
".........yawn" Myra said pretending to yawn.
"Yeah...cats are always asleep aren't they." he screwed up a piece
of paper and threw it at Myra, he smiled as it hit her on the head.
Myra shoot him a cold look. She began to descend the ship. She
causally readied her staff and sneaked a blade of her staff. She
flung it and landed in between Schwenk's legs just in front of his
crotch. "As well as monkeys. They can only use a part of their brain
so all they can take pride in is being asleep" Myra spat.
"Nice shot...or bad shot, depending on your viewpoint!" he removed
the blade and slipped it inside the pocket on the inside of his
jacket. "You're going to look mighty stupid with just a stick
dearie" he laughed.
"erm...Duh! there is more then one blade on my stick! Geez you
really don't know how to use your brain huh?"
"Oh...well....one less for you to throw at me anyway!" he did feel
stupid now. He was running out of ways to get to her now. "You're
lousy at sex and you smell too" he was scraping the bottom of the
barrel now.
Myra laughed, she swung round in her chair and smiled at
him. "Geez. that's rich coming from Mr "my version of foreplay is
having Myra do it all!"
Schwenk stood up in a huff. "Ahhh, you win this time! I hope that I
can still get to you in the future, you're more fun that way" he
went and offered his hand to concede defeat.
Myra smiled at Schwenk and took his hand. "Ok I will get wound up
next time. that was boring I must admit" she winked.
Schwenk hugged Myra and squeezed. "You know I'd never do anything
to really upset you...you stinky cat!" he chuckled.
Myra ran her fingers through his hair. "Yeah I know you stupid
monkey"
The pilot guided the ship down through the clouds, trying to figure out
some way to land safely and still throw Lynxana out of her seat. This
planet seemed much more hospitable for a landing; the pilot eased the
large ship down gently onto a wide plain dotted with small hillocks.
Red Lioness
25 years ago . . . . . .
Thunder rumbled over the thick forest. In a clearing by the base of a
steep cliff, a vast encampment of Thunderians prepared for the rain.
Though there was a pall of gloom over the group, and many of the
warriors sported fresh wounds, the atmosphere was not one of despair,
but of stoic resignation. True; they were homeless, thier numbers were
diminished and they were without a leader, but these things would
pass. They were Thunderians; they were warriors; they wouldn't let a
little thing like total defeat and exile keep them down for long.
A little space away from the camp, a sabertooth woman stood on a small
hillock looking at the sky. The wind seemed to coil around her,
whipping her long mane and cloak in crazy directions. One such pass
revealed her belly was distended and swollen; she would bear a cub soon.
A brawny sabertooth warrior with a bandage over one eye jogged out
towards her.
"My Lady! Come back to the tents; you'll catch your death out here."
He called. The woman laughed.
"I mean it," The warrior protested. "His lordship told me to look
after you and look after you I shall."
"You've done a splendid job, Woden." The woman chuckled. "But your
time of caring for me is close to an end. Soon your expertise in care
will be passed along to my daughter." Woden frowned. With anyone
else, he would have protested such a macabre statement, but this was
Lady Galanta; she knew of things unseen by normal Thunderians. Woden
had never known her to be wrong.
"Lady, come back to the tents," he coaxed gently. Galanta turned her
eyes back to the sky.
"The stars are in an auspicious alignment," Galanta stated. "Tonight I
shall give birth to the princess of the Sabertooth Clan. She will be
wise and strong, and much loved by her people. She will put her people
before herself and see with eyes unclouded by hatred. Help her to be
so, Woden."
"You're in labor now?! I-I'll get the midwife--!"
"Woden! Will you help my daughter?!"
"Wh- well, of course! Let me-"
"Do not bother with her. You have a sharp blade on you, do you not?"
Woden's hand went to the dagger at his belt. It was sharp enough to
cut shadow.
"As always," He answered, not liking where this conversation was going.
"Good. Alas, I will not be around to see her born. But she will shake
the world without my help." Galanta's eyes narrowed, scowling up at
the stars. "And without yours, you silly old fool."
The next moment was full of light and noise. It was a second Woden
would remember until his dying day. The whole camp saw the seer
Galanta struck down by a bolt of lightning. Many ran forward to help,
but it was too late. Woden knew as he looked down at her body that she
was already dead. His gaze fell on her belly even as his hand was
drawing his knife from it's sheath.
"I'll never fear thunder again," he muttered under his breath. "It is
lightning that does the work."
All right; we'll start out bright and early on Nibelung, a sword &
sorcery-type planet. You can make characters from any race, just
remember to keep the technology limited. Magic is given full rein,
though, so go crazy.
Red Lioness
All right, so I'm sensing we've lost interest in the dinosaurs and want
to move on to a sword and sorcery-type setting. Fine by me.
Mumm-Ra, Vultureman, and Jackalman's players seem to have fallen off
the face of the earth. Cheetara's character has also bowed out. Would
anyone like these characters or know someone who would?
Anyways, we'll start with landfall on Nibelung bright and early Monday
morning. I'll write up some background and some setups and we can take
it from there. Basic info for Nibelung is in the files section.
Red Lioness
Enter your vote today! A new poll has been created for the
oldethundera group:
Should we continue to limp along on Mezocharia or skip ahead to Nibelung?
o More dinosaurs! Stay with Mezocharia!
o Nibelung! I've got this D&D character I want to bring over.
o Eh. Don't care.

Thanks!
We appear to be losing players and momentum. Would it be better if we
recruited some more players and skipped on to the next world? It's
similiar to LoTR . . . .wizards and dragons and elves, oh my!
I'll set up a poll and we can vote.

Tygra looked over to Siberia. He leaned over and kissed her. "Good
morning. How are you feeling?" He ran his fingers through her mane
and gave a husky moan.
Wilykit woke up and wandered out of her room. She walked down the
hallway and admired the nice things that were there. There were
things that were brought back from Old Thundera. Wilykit admired a
scenic painting on the wall of a city on Old Thundera. "I wonder
where this was on Thundera?" she thought. She was fasinated by the
vehicles and buildings in the painting. She smiled as she studied the
painting closely.

Hey, y'all. I hate to do this to ya, but I've been so
swamped with things off and online that I don't think
I can carry this game any longer - even the one
measely character I have.
It's been real. Cheetara is available again, I
suppose. Good luck in gaming to the rest of you!
