Question about using materal from OD&DITIES fanzine   Message List

Hi All,

I am hoping to start up a new campaign for Classic D&D on a play by
post website. I'm designing my own campaign world, and one of the
things that I wanted to do was to change the demi-human classes.
Reading through OD&DITIES 1-12 I found articles on classes that I
wanted to adapt to my campaign. For example in my world, Halflings are
basically traveling bards. The bard class write up in issue 11 of
OD&DITIES is perfect for my campaign world provided that a few changes
are made to it.

What I want to do is write up a document for my players based on that
article with changes made so that the class fits into my campaign world.
I'll give full credit to author's of the article in OD&DITIES also to
OD&DITIES itself in my rewrite. My question is am I allowed to do
this? I don't want to break any copywrite laws or tread on anyones toes.

Regards

Steve
