of
OCTI have sold world-wide?"

Here's my best guess. Great American Trading Co. had three print
runs of OCTI (the 9x9 version) with wooden pieces. The first two
runs were approximately 5,000 units, and the last run was something
in the neighborhood of 2,500. The Octi-for-Kids (6x7) version was
run in two printings. I'm not positive about the run sizes, but I
think they were 5,000 each. The plastic Great American Trading Co.
versions (which were incredibly badly produced) were 750 in each
type before they were called to a halt. What a disaster! Foxmind
has since had two print runs of the 6x7 version (now just called
Octi) in a Hebrew box; these runs were approximately 2,000 apiece.
Foxmind is the only company currently producing Octi 6x7; Family
Games of Canada has the rights to the 9x9 version and continues to
talk about putting it into production next year.

Best,
Don
