Huzzah! Welcome to the Barony of Obsidian Hills' Webpage.
We meet on Sundays, in Southern Burnet Woods Park. From heading East on Martin Luther King Dr, go past Clifton, and turn left on Brookline Dr (first street past the light, accross from the University). Park along the side of the street. You should see us on on the left side, in the flat area or the right side, up near the large circle of stones (Stonehenge). We start around 1:30 PM. We pick teams for our first battlegame/scenario promptly at 2:00 PM. If you have questions, join our Yahoo! group, or contact Viktor, Gabriella, or Obie.

One of the main differences between Amtgard and other groups is the inclusion of a magic system for some battle-games.
Amtgard fighting tends to be much faster and more technical than other groups. The universal round blade used widely in Amtgard has led the game more away from "fantasy scenario battles" and into a stick tag sport at its
