Like to see more (MUCH MORE) of the flq scenarios.
Since Alex send me flq scenario #12 (I like the dodos!)and #13 and #1
is on the aa-web-page there must be 2 - 11 somewhere.
They are funny, you know exactly what miniture you need and there are
alternatives with other minis..
Did I said I like the dodos?
Greetings from Germany

Ah I enjoy the new art - it has humour and animation to it -
reminiscent to some of GW art style I guess too. There are some
great set pieces in Sloo2 - harge of the Joccian greys and a
fantastic orc regt in square - both interpretations on well known,
nay iconic images of realworld nappy battlescenes. I dont see 4th
age Valon ever becoming a dark and Gothic place...well ok except in
some of its colder climes!
Art is of course highly subjective in taste and nobody can be
essentially wrong in their opinions but opinions will inevitably
attract other opinions...
I would like to see an uniform plate done in a 'straight' osprey
army book style but instead of humans there would be various dogs
posing...that would be lovely...anyone else have an Valon art
fantasy they care to share?

Hi all,
Just thought I would introduce myslef, my name is Gavin. Some of you
may already know me as Super Squirrel.
Just started Flintlouqe again after many many years away.
Cheers, Gavin.
I wouldn't want any artwork.
I really liked the old stuff, the new stuff reminds me of the old
stuff by GW where the artists drew the minis.
Not to say it's bad or anything.
Fluff is good I guess.
There should be quick reference tables in the back of the rulebooks,
I know SLOO 2nd edition comes with em (which is brilliant!), dunno
about reloaded as I play 1st edition FLQ which DID have them in it.

Hans Gruman killed himself attempting to swing a rat to smack the
multiple opponents trying to take him down! Failed the 20% Unlikely
action roll and got his last wound removed.
The message was Oswald's message of alliance to fight off the greater
evil. He's the character everyone loves with a fear of water.
Fun fun fun.

The undead mullerd my voultigers. I only completed on objective and that was
when hans gruman got his "pet" dwarf and I think they were the only ferach
to get off the table. We had an alliance with the allies for a bit but only
a few of them got the message and the ogres tried to rebel but they got a

Hello Rob,
Thanks for your posting.
Flintloque is a growing systme but you can used all of our printed
materials with all of the editions of the game; unless I
misunderstand.
If you have a copy of Deadloque or Flintloque Reloaded or the new
Lite rules then all the scenarios will work fine.
We will post news of new sculpts when they are ready, we are working
on a number of them right now!

Hello Greg,
Thanks for your post.
What do you mean by 'all the stats' do you mean all the races not
yet covered or the format of the PDF's?
Do you wish for a PDF of the paper catalogue that we produce,
listing all the FLQ and Sloo codes and prices?
I can certainly ask Gavin if we have some fiction that you could
read to be put up or perhaps a character sheet for one of the
Limited Edition miniatures.

A bit more of this, we played the missed bridge scenario (we play old
edition FLQ, but are updating SLOO using just the old ideas, not that
the new ones are bad, I like a lot of them, we just know the old
setting better and like some of it's restrictions). If anyone doesn't
know what this is, basically, the Armee Du Norde is fleeing The
Witchlands, they are destroying the bridges so that the undead do not
follow. In their state of rush, they miss one of these brides allowing
the Undead to flow far out of their homelands.
Fortunately Albion forces are patrolling the area, so may choose to
allign with the Ferach against a greater evil.
The undead have one objective. Kill. All. Life...
I think what would help (like you said) sceanrios, artwork, if you could
limit all the stats down as little sheets as possible that'd be good. A
online catalouge? so we know whats coming out in the next month or so. Maybe
the back ground of a character or a little story just for us to read every
week?

Yeah I do see in there but thats whats out now I want to know what will be
out.
Um well Rob and Ross from my local club got me into it, What I like about
the game is the role playing side to it as we played a sceanrio where there
was one bridge left that the ferach hadn't destoryed and we all had
objectives that even turned us against our allies and I really liked that.

Hello to all,
We plan to put up new free content every week, typically on a Friday or
late in the week for you to enjoy over the weekend.
You can find all that has been put up so far in the files section or
the photo's section.
So here is the question....
To aid your games of any of our ranges what would you like to see put
up as a free PDF here? Scenarios, play sheets, artwork and so on.
Post here with your thoughts and we will try and comply!
Regards,
Gavin
Hello Everyone,
This week's upload is the long awaited 'Flintloque Lite', this being a
free PDF of the basic game. It is fully playable and when combined
with the Flintloque Statistics document you have all you need.
This file can be found in the offical AA Flintloque folder in the files
section; as can the afore mentioned statisics booklet.
Enjoy!
As always any comments are welcome, please post them here and we will
answer as soon as we can.
Cheers,
Alex Scott.
Hello,
Images of the very latest miniatures for Flintloque and Slaughterloo
have just been added to the photo's section, in the FLQ & Sloo
latest folder, for you to enjoy.
These latest miniatures are;
Guinalean Legion Grenadiers.
Fighting for the Ferach Empire alongside the Elves these Bog Orcs
are the biggest and toughest in the Legion.
1. 54039 Guinalean Legion Grenadiers Command
This pack contains an Elf Officer with sword raised shouting
encouragement to his troops and a sitting Bog Orc Grenadier with
musket in mitre.
2. 54040 Guinalean Legion Grenadiers Colours
This pack contains two Bog Orcs one with a sword and eagle topped
standard and the other in cap with musket and grenade in hand.
3. 54041 Guinalean Legion Grenadiers
This pack contains two Bog Orcs. A trooper in mitre with bayonet
tipped musket advancing and a huge trooper with whiskers and
musket. This larger trooper stands over 40mm tall!
All packs come with plastic bases as shown.
These miniatures can be seen on the promotions page of the
Alternative Armies site and will be on general release at the end of
April into May 2007. There will also be pro-painted and
Slaughterloo unit options.
Anyone wanting more information on the Guinalean Legion just ask.
Cheers,
Alex Scott.
Hello All,
Just uploaded is the 2007 Flintloque statistics tables PDF. It is
located in the official Flintloque files folder.
This PDF contains all the races of valon, all the weapons, and all the
points costs for creating your section in the game. Essential for play
and to get if you already have a copy of Flintloque.
