There is no question that this group is moribund at the moment.
One of our key members, Rick Taylor, passed away about two months ago, after a fight with cancer. He was one of the most active members of the group.
As for me, I currently am providing 24/7 care for my father, who is 87 and has Alzheimers. I simply cannot leave him at home for any extended period. During our last game, he wandered off while we went to lunch. Fortunately, he found his way home and only went less than a block from the home.
Rick's death has certainly curtailed my desire to do a lot of gaming. Several members also cut back on their gaming after the death of another gamer, Jeff, several years ago. But even before that, my father's disability has limited my ability to host games.
