Earlier in the December is better for me... I'm not particularly into WWI, but I'd drive the Ft Morgan for sure. When I know dates I'll be telling the guys here about the game day...

I, too, have been wanting to run some WWI games. I do have the Great
War rules, based on 40k. But they actually look like they may be
pretty good.
I have early and late war Germans and French in 25mm. Knowing
Sacha, you knew he would do French!
I still have a lot of my ruins out from the Mordheim game. These
ruined buildings not only work for fantasy, but for WWI and WWII
skirmish. I have been thinking of a non-trench scenario.
I see this not as being one of those Warhammer style events I have
been writing about, but just a regular multi-player game at the store.
The weather will be getting crappy soon and Thanksgiving rapidly is
approaching.
Are there times in December or January which might work. A lot may
depend on whether we get one of those snows that won't melt, as we
have for the past two years.
