OK, I remember a game I used to like that I don't think has been
named. It was like Dig Dug in that it was a 2D cross section of the
earth with the top having plants and bottom of the screen being deeper
earth, but it was not Dig Dug. You were mining for gold and trying to
get as much as you could. I think there were cave-ins and dynamite,
but I don't recall any wandering monsters. The goal was to get as much
gold as you could using certain tools and maybe you lost when you ran
out of air or something like that.
