And so it ends. Many wonderful years of Living Greyhawk come to a
close. I like to extend my special thanks to following persons:
Anders Lindborg, Paul Bendall, Pål Henriksen, Dan Hass, Gordon Smith,
Keith McCall, Jukka Särkijärvi, Nick Silverstone (wherever you are
mate!), Matt Koebl, JP-Hartikainen, Juha-Pekka Saarinen, Mikko Laine,
David Howard, Steven Zwanger & Warren Banks. You all made Naerie what
it was and for that I thank you.
Jukka has talked long about Living Greyhawk and what future will
hold, so I spare you of further text. Instead, I would like to thank
one person, who might not know it but was vital for the Naerie.
Stevie Spencer.
Yes, it was one clear morning in Southampton game store Hidden
Fortress when I prepared to start playing my first game of Living
Greyhawk (COR3-13 Traitors Road), launching the career of Paulus
Hume. I would not have been there had Stevie not been a helpful guide
in WOTC forums when I asked my first questions about how to take part
and find a game of Living Greyhawk in UK. I was starting my studies
there and was naturally bit lost by all things.
I met him in cons occasionally until he disappeared from view but
without him, I might never have started playing Living Greyhawk and
later authoring a massive number of adventures for it.
Also thanks to all the wonderful people i've met during the course of
Living Greyhawk, of whom there are many but special thanks to Clive
Essery and Hereford gang in UK as well as Pierre van Rooden and
Pieter Sleipjen.
I encourage you all to enjoy and keep on playing all the final Living
Greyhawk adventures that are out there as they won't be gone until
next year. I don't think we will ever see anything like Living
Greyhawk again, with it's properly unique regional system and the
massive style variations between them.
