I tried to reply to the message I received in my inbox, but my
browser said I had to go thru the group to respone... ah well...
My FAVORITE gamebooks of all time would have to be the Lone Wolf
books. I have up to 19, however they are the US editions. Truth be
told, I've only read up to book 12. It just seems like a great
place to end the story.
I'm also a fan of the Fabled Lands/Quest books, and I'm part of that
Yahoo group as well. I only have the first two in printed format,
but I really enjoyed the free-form aspect of them.
I once had the Steve Jackson Sorcery! books, and I enjoyed them
greatly. I even had the spellbook, and I liked the way that you
were required to memorize the spell verbal and material components
to use the spell. And I did! (Maybe that's why I didn't date much
in high school...)
