This group was created in an attempt to use the Warmaster rules by Games Workshop to create a set of special rules and army lists for recreating the epic battles of Middle-earth.

The group will discuss units types, rules, any special conditions as they apply to J.R.R. Tolkiens world of Middle-earth.

With the upcoming release of Games Workshop's Battle of five Armies from the Hobbit, I think it is important to include this set in the discussions, as the game is based on Warmaster.

1) Army Lists :
a) Do we create new lists with new units?
b) Or use existing warmaster lists ?

2) Campaign rules:
a) Do we use existing warmaster campaign rules?
b) Or create our own?
