That's correct, we're writing the scripts this week... so if you'd like to request any particular game type, or have some cool game ideas then please send them along. I'm looking at the missions from Rainbow Six : Vegas, and modifying them to fit the Memphis theme.
Hope to see everyone there in October!
Later,
Evins

or at least the theme and date anyway. As of now it's Oct 27th and the
theme is Rainbox 6 - Memphis...
> I don't they are very sure yet. They are looking into
scenario/woodsball. What is speedball?
Scenario games have themes to them and can last from 6 to 24 hours in
length. By theme I mean something out of history or movies. Memphis
Paintball has had Movie (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and Mars
Attacks) and History - or versions of (Dodge City). Science Fiction
games also are played. Mostly just games with props to use and
missions to complete.
Speedball is more competetive and usually involves more prizes and/or
money. Its also faster paced since the games are broken down into 15
minute groups usually. There are pipes and air filled bunkers to hide
behind instead of trees.
A lot of the younger crowd play speedball since it appeals to their
faster tastes. Us older crew play more woodball and scenario. Many
people play both and its not uncommon to see speedball players in
their bright reds and yellows running around the woods playing in a
scenario game.
Usually (but not always) if you see paintball on TV its speedball.
As mentioned in the other thread, if you can find a local field, stop
by and see what they have to offer and if there are any teams there.
It doesn't take much at all to actually FORM a team. Keeping it
together so that they all make the games is whats hard - especially
the older they get when more school and girls get involved in their
life.

You might want to check around a bit with Warpigs listing anyway (ie
call the field if a number is available). They have fields listed in
my area that have been closed for at least 5 years.
PBReview.com & Warpig.com
have field locators based on Zip Code, so you can easily find a home
field near South Eastern Kentucky.
You may also want to check the regional player section at PBNation.com,
its the largest online community of paintballers. I would also check
the Scenario/Woodsball forum there to see if any scenario games will be
coming to your nearby fields.

That was a fun game, had a great time. I played for Blondie's Bounty
Hunters (good). I think my bro had a fun time commanding that team
when someone volunteered him. For those that missed it, the last game
and half of the one before it was rained out so the ending score was:
Good- 156 Bad- 169. Well I had fun and can't wait till the next one!
Good job Assassins!

Well you guys have fun. Doesn't look like the Rovers will be making
this one either. Spent WAY too much money over the past two months.

And it looks like it could get a bit confusing to. The sign in has
three teams which could get interesting.
Is it just my computer or is that all that is up so far? Sign up sheet
but no storyline yet?

Against my better judgement I am leaving the post up for the Myspace
add. Lets not clog up the works with everyone adding themselves as
friends though please. If it becomes too much of a mess here then hose
posts will be deleted. Its basically the same as spamming IMO.
Thanks
hey, robert.. drop me a line. long time no talk.

Yea, we tried to rush into this game because so many people were talking about going to D-Day and one other big name scenario game series... so we thought we could squeeze in another event, but some things went down and then we decided it was for the better that we postpone it for a month... late May is looking to be hot already too!!

What the??? I must have the bad luck mojo this year. This is another
game to be postponed that I had committed to. Ahh well, it bees that
way sometimes.
Late June huh? That means a HOT weather game. Have to make sure to
bring the ice chest this time I guess.
Sup Fellas,
I regret to inform y'all that the May Scenario Game has been pushed back to late June... and the date will be set in no longer than a week while we research conflicting events, series, etc. We apologize for the inconvience but we'd rather postpone the date and give you another great scenario game than to continue with the original date and provide a far less than anticipated scenario game, our loyal playerbase deserve a fun, great scenario game... If you saw the 5 games that are posted on the site, you will need to forget that they ever existed. Upon looking at the history of events, its about time to have another western theme, civil war theme, or earlier... so feel free to email me some theme ideas, but the deadline for the game info to be up will be next weekend... so email me ASAP.
Thanks for your understanding,
Evins Wardlaw

A bit late in coming............ok so a WHOLE LOT late. The end of last
year and the first couple of months of this year were busy for me but I
finally posted the Tombstone game up on our site. The bad thing is I
still have an MXS game from last year to post also.
Anyway, its there for anyone who is still interested. No pictures were
taken that I know of but I did try to fix it up a little. If I need to
add some general names in just let me know who they are.

The Missouri game was postponed so it looks like a few of us will make
it also.
When can we expect the game info to be up?
Also, do we need to bring a cameraman or will MadDog be there?
Looks like I'll make this one too... Luckily, just today, I told the
folks at work that I could work the weekend of the 19th and NOT the
26th.

Well, may not make this game either. There is a 26 hr MXS game an hour
west of St Louis on May 19-20 and I will be heading that direction. If
anyone is interested in that one then pm or email me.
If for some reason that game is cancelled then we may head up for the
Memphis one. I would like to make both but the knees and the wallet
will not allow it - mostly the knees....
