Welcome to Melrosed, a social group. This group has nothing to do with the once popular fox TV show. No, this group is for the few, proud, and the melrosed.

The eternal bond between this brotherhood (and sisterhood) was formed at the University of Texas where these parasites shared everything from memories, sport fields, porches, laughs, and tupperware. This fine group of young adults earned their original name (that is, the Circle of Death) from their exclusive, yet succesful social achievements when they hit the town in Austin on certain nights, and mornings if the occasion calls. Their social circle, with its strict membership, frequently devoured any party-goer or potential ally that came their way. Thus, their often admired circle came to be known as that of the Circle of Death. The more recent title of Melrosed was earned in much the same way. As this vicious circle engaged in its predatory social practices, they were often Melrosed. Sometimes they had a little too much Pabst, sometimes a few too many Martinis, but often they were just Melrosed on life.

It is quite a task to describe this group in a single bound as they have varying differences and all value their artistic freedom. A good bit of these folk started college in the Fall of 1995 (some later) and through trials and tribulations and varying degrees of video game prowess, most of them have made it through. Thus, it is hard to classify these scholars as something like UT Class of '99 as their departures were quite staggerred. I am pretty sure they were all there in the Spring of '97 though. These valorous people are all of sound mind, extreme wit, athletic rigidity, and literary genius.

The group itself was created so these friends can stay connected as they all evolve into heroine-abusing celebrities. Many of the members have left Austin, and others are on their way out. So this is a way for them to share their wit, insight, and conversation as they branch off into different trails ahead.
