I'm not certain if the group displays your email address to anyone
unless it is a member when they receive an email from the group. Also,
we haven't had a new member sign up since March of '07. ;)

On the other hand, I use Gmail and Gtalk with voice and video.
According to my records, the last time I got any piece of spam in my
gmail inbox was August of '08 (they are so infrequent now as to be
almost nostalgic) and I have never seen any spam in Gtalk, though I
signed up for the service in 2003.

My address, jesset@..., has been virtually my only address for
the last seven years and I share it online with abandon. A Google
search for my email address provides over 100 results, while a search
for yours provides none.

So that's the story there. :D I've went ahead and set group
membership to private. Is this what you meant?
