I just got a chance to test the connection to my server from outside my
LAN -- no go. Apparently the server software and Internet Connection
Sharing don't agree on what IP address the server software should use --
I can't get any kind of connection to the external address from outside
my LAN. I can connect from inside on either the internal or external
addresses, so I don't know what the exact problem is -- other than that
it won't work with ICS running on the server. It also doesn't work
through the address translation -- can't connect at the external address
if I tell the server software to us the internal address (and connection
to the internal address isn't conclusive, since I'm using a dial-out
connection from a machine still on the LAN to test).
If I come up with something more functional, I'll post back...

whatever current equipment and technology furthers his creative
objectives, without sacrificing the ability to make his own decisions.
