Re: B07 Final turn

The Red default set up is infinitely better than the Black or Gray, but I never
understood why you'd want to pay to put a pair of volcanoes in your back yard.
In my opinion none of the default set ups are good. If I HAD to pick a default
set up, I'd probably go with Yellow, but it doesn't have many starter troops.

A custom set up is the best, but it's discouraged because it's easy to make
mistakes that can make your position unplayable. Not everyone that does custom
set ups wants to reveal their secret tricks, but for the sake of encouraging
good competition it would be cool to put together some better designed defaults
that newer players could choose from.

Personally I HATE the system used here to enter orders (and custom set ups).
Any accidental touch of the entry key and your orders are sent unfinished and
irretrievable. When you do manage to send in completed orders you're left with
no trace or record of what you sent. I have many instances of having
double-checked a Build Bridge order that I was sure was correct only to get
another "Order incorrect or incomplete" message. I think the program sometimes
mixes up lizard color types if you enter a quantity. Mad City Games says the
game doesn't generate enough income to justify making order entry user friendly.
I see that as a self fulfilling prophesy. If that process was improved, I'd
definitely pay and play a lot more. As it is, I'm not sure it's worth the
effort.

only fighting WAR as he is not talking to me. There were too many players
starting with a grey or black den set up in this game, which made it easy for
the red den setups to attack. I suggest anyone starting in game B08 to start off
with a red den set up.
