I don't know if this board is still active or not but thought I'd aska question.
I came across the LoTR again recently and was giving it a deep read. I noticed
the damage system as an interesting departure from Classic and Lite system.
My only concern with it is that it seems to make Dex an even more godlike stat
for fighters. Str seems to be less important if Dex (and skill) drives the
majority of damage, and the strong but slow concept seems to become obsolete.
Dex also allows you to go more quickly, and avoid damage. It becomes /way/ more
important than Str.
Bare in mind, this is merely from number crunching in my head, I've not actually
play tested it. I was wondering how this has panned out in play.
