      Just while I'm thinking about it, if there's Bulletins (ex:
FieldSoft IGMs looking for new Ansi Artist / Joel Gathercole looking
for a manager for CNW) or publicity (preferbly a JPeg) you'd like to
put for free on the Official LORD II IGM Archive, don't be shy and
drop a letter at l2archive@.... Don't forget it has to have
something to do with LORD II (duh!)

      By the way, is there still some of you who has LORD II related
websites and stioll haven't applied to the LORD II: The Scene webring?

Hi there,
      You know, Donald is kinda right. If we can't manage an IRC GT, we
might as well write directly on the LordNews Mailing List or here,
seeing it IS a Mailing List after all!

      Here's my ideas for LORD II, and that would need to be a v2.00. I
was thinking of being able to load map from external Data files, and
when using the M button, you would see the new map instead of the
regular one. One the other hand, you'd also need to take into
consideration older IGMs that are meant to be installed in the main
Map file. Such as, when creating a hotpoint that is used to warp, you
could chose if it loads a seperate Data File. It would also have to
warp to the current Data file when none are mentionned, so that the
230 older IGMs meant for v1.x would still work with v2.x. It would
also require some new script commands, perhaps @do mapfile is x.dat or
something like that. It would stretch LORD II to unknown boundaries,
murging LORD II with complete new worlds (if authors make it so), and
allwoing an infinite amounth of IGMs to be installed. There could be a
LORD II Expansion Set with a complete new world (new items and stuff)
that would add to LORD II and double it's size using the idea
mentionned here.

      Another problem I've came across a long time age in the earliest
versions of my DarkCloak Tavern for LORD II was the @rank command. It
can't read higher than `p30 in the vars. For my DarkCloak Tavern to be
as authentic as LORD I's, it would have to be able to read how many
times the player got laid and how many players he killed (which are
distinctly `p34 and `p35). When currently using the @rank command, it
will only read these vars from the player playing, and will list the
same results for the other players. I've tried mixing vars, using
those ones with some that works (`p12 for "has VD"), and results were
that lower than `p30 listed proprely while higher continued to bug.
I've wrote to Michael Preslar about it befofe, but it was back then
when he was already busy as it was, and don't know if he ever got it.

      I'd like to know what any of you think of this. And if you read
it Michael P., just drop me a "got it" to let me know you were made
aware of the problem mentionned in the third paragraph.

A few things here..

A handful of people have asked if I'm the one that scheduled this little
get together.. I didn't.. Matter of fact, I didn't know anything about it
until I got the reminder. Soo.. That'd mean that Greenie is the one that
scheduled the GT..

Concerning topics of conversation.. Greenie titled this little get together
"Future of Lord2".. That particular topic definitly allows me to make
assumptions about what Greenie meant, as I'm sure it does for most everyone
else.. However, I cannot say for certain what the topic is, or even if
Greenie has one. Maybe he's just trying to create an environment for us all
to get together and chat. So, here's what I'm proposing for this. If you
have any ideas for what you'd like to see in lord2, join the chat and let
me know. If you have a radical new idea, let me know. etc etc.

As far as a log of the chat.. I've got my IRC client in there now, logging
away. I'll leave it there until sometime tomarrow. That'll be sure to grab
whatever chat may happen. Once I have the log, I'll post a message and let
you guys know.

As for the time of the GT.. I quite agree that 9am eastern is waaaay too
early for this kind of thing, especially on a Saturday morning. So.. Here's
what I'm proposing.. We do the thing tomarrow morning at 9am eastern.. and
then again at 5pm eastern. That way, everyone has a chance to come around
and chat..

Almost done.. The IRC channel that this chat will be in.. Remember that its

yeah thats a really horrible time... I mean isn't there some time that is at
least daylight for most of the involved people...  Or at least the USA cause
you know we're the only people that matter in the first place j/k

I know if we picked like 5pm Eastern it would be good for like most of
europe and all the US plus those canadians up there :-)

I hit #lord around 9:45 eastern.. Only other person in there was ACTION. He
had been there for an hour and a half, and said that no one else had popped
in.

The bot in #lord hasn't seen greenie for 65 days and counting.
