We are a group of modern board gamers who meet every Monday night in Liverpool town centre to play a range of games like Puerto Rico, Battlestar Galactica, Agricola, Dominion and many of the high-rated Boardgamegeek games. The games are decided on the night, we bring a selection each week but feel free to bring your own games. If you haven't played these games before we're happy to teach you the rules, and often play new games so we'll all need to learn it.

Meetings are in the upstairs room at The Ship and Mitre, a recent Liverpool pub of the year (and serial winner) at the top of Dale Street. As well as a large private room The Ship offers the widest beer selection in Liverpool with a large range of bottled Ciders and Euro beers and 15 handpumps for the British stuff. Hot food is served until 9PM. There is free street parking from 6.00 in Hatton Garden, Old Haymarket, Forsyth Street (beware the one-way system) and the nearby side streets. The car park under the flyover charges until 7.30. Lime Street and Moorfields stations and the bus gyratory are under 5 minutes walk away,

Meetings are informal with no fees or membership, running from 6.00 until closing time, with short games until 7.00 to allow everyone time to get there, then we start our main games for the night. If you expect to arrive after 7.00 let us know you're coming so you don't spend 2 hours waiting for a game to finish. We're welcoming new members all the time so it's not a group restricted to a bunch of old friends, as long as you're at least 18. The play record on the strapline and the posts below gives you an idea of our recent activity. Come as often or infrequently as you wish, prior arrangements aren't required.
