Description

April 23, 1942

United States President Franklin Delano Roosevelt sends a covert dispatch to British Prime Minister Winston Churchill warning that the Third Reich is more dangerous than anticipated.

Proof had been recovered that Hitler and his Japanese co-conspirators have begun to investigate the occult and strange high-science with the intent of bringing such forces to bear against the Allies and the world itself.

Churchill recommends this news not be released to the press or the regular military, to avoid widespread panic, and instead suggests to FDR a more appropriate response: rally together the greatest mysterymen and women of the day!

Having listened to the Prime Minister's idea and then having worked out a plan with Churchill, FDR suggests forming the Liberty Brigade : a special forces unit, dedicated to fight the foes and forces that the military could not.

Top men were placed on the project from the US and England, who proceeded to enlist the aid of specialized agents throughout the world to help in the recruitment of super-soldiers.

Even as you read this, these agents are out there. Searching for those who would take up the gauntlet thrown down by the world's most respected statesmen.

Roll-Call:

Artemis, GI Patriot, Mysteria, Silver Specter, Sky Commando...

NOTE: All characters are original heroes/heroines. No canon characters permitted.
