record it while I was holding the information in my sweaty little hands...

From a commercial website for new OLS gear, posted on laserforums a
few months ago:

UK Patent applications for various lazertag related items, all listing
David A. Morris as the inventor:
0702747.7 -- Eye-safe IR Laser
0702748.5 -- IFF system
0702749.3 -- Range Control
0702750.1 -- IR Tag Confirmation System

At the time I looked these up on esc@penet, only the above information
(and dates of application) was present -- no details of the
inventions, claims, etc. It will be worth keeping an eye on these,
especially the first one, as they may have a major impact on the
lasertag sports in the near future.
