Well I put 4x 1k ohm resistors inline with the datalines (as they
change direction)... prolly can put 1k on the enable, RS (register
select) and R/W (read/write) lines too..
It works so my theory about 1k on data seems to be holding true.
(insignificant in comparison to other relates things, driver current
and target [load] resistance [being really high]).
I'm going keep on tinkering...
BTW> MJPA is REALLY SLOW! placed order from MPJA LAST Sunday, then 10
minutes later with Jameco. Got the stuff on Wednesday from Jameco at
the door while MPJA sent email saying they processed the order and it
will be shipping out. --slow-- also I placed a follow-up with MPJA on
Monday (after the Sunday w/ my first order w/ them) and they also
charged on Wednesday and send another email... *THEN* a third CC
charge for 10 cents more. The first two charges match the quotes
price.. I'm gonna hafta dispute the 10 cents...
MPJA is on my "list to be avoided" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
