Description

This is the official group for Johns Wargames including Ancients D6.

I will post beta lists and new wargame rules as they are being developed. When I feel that the rules/lists are good enough to release into the wild, I'll post them to the blog. If you can't wait, you can see them here first!

Hi, I set the mercenary levels to 1/5 of total army points for Persian Invasion and 1/3 for Peloponnesian Wars. I also allow any amount of mercenary Hoplites

... That's reasonable for the Peloponnesian Wars. I'll change to 1/3. I'll leave the early Greeks the same however. I think they were more reliant on there

Hi   This section needs checking:   "Peloponnesian Wars:  During the  Peloponnesian Wars (after 450 BC), mercenaries became increasingly important.
