Darkness engulfs the galaxy. The Separatists have been defeated, but the Republic has collapsed under the weight of Chancellor Palpatine’s evil designs, and in its place, the Galactic Empire is born.

The Jedi Knights have been ambushed by the very troops who stood beside them in the Clone Wars. A trap has been set to lure any survivors to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Emperor Palpatine has ordered his apprentice, Darth Vader, to hunt down and destroy any Jedi who still live.

Before escaping the Temple, Jedi Masters Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi have managed to send a signal instructing any remaining Jedi to stay away from Coruscant, and to go into hiding...
