Well, as far as bang for your buck, not much is worth more than the original
MM. After that, my favorites were the MM3 and the MM5. The MM4 was a little
too dragon heavy, but that's understandable looking at the cover and realising
it's theme, but that's why I have my dragonomicon. I think with just those
three, you have everything you'd really need. I'd still buy them in order,
though, 1,3,5.
