Ow, sorry to hear about that Lola.  I know from experience how
frustrating it is to have an injured hand prevent you from your
hobbies and impede your professional work too.

As far as starting online games, previous experiences suggest that
picking a public setting where people can filter in works.  Maybe the
schoolyard or halls before classes start or at the end of the day, or
the cafeteria?  Also, one thing I've seen before that I put forth is
the creation of a second message board, one for in-character
roleplaying and one for OOC discussion and announcements?  Helps keep
the flow the roleplaying from being interrupted, but thats just my
opinion.  Whatever the mod(s) pick, I'm eager to see what happens.

the moderators.  She didn't leave too many specifics on what we shoud
DO, but we'll try to help keep this group active and moving along the
way its members want it to.

It seems most everyone has picked a character so far that suits them

Hiya,
Offering my submission for a character, Tara Shaw, in a folder in the
Files section.  That way if I pick up any pictures or anything, I can
put everything about that one character in one place, rather than
make a mess.

Also, just wanted to vocally cast my vote for the small-town-school
setting.  This is ANIME style, and the last thing I want to see is a
bunch of super-heroine characters hanging out in bars.  There's more
than enough places that already do that, and I'm looking forward to
something new and different.

Also, wanted to ask, is this going to be a character-
interaction/scenario-type roleplay, or a 'hey, check out my EEE-cup
bust' roleplay?  I ask cause I got the impression from the club
description that it was going to be the former, but from a couple of
the pics I've seen added to the photo section it feels like the
latter.  I'd love clarification.

Finally, I put forth my character, gaijin transfer student Tara
Shaw.  In appropriate anime fashion, she's a schoolgirl with a
katana, a family thats spoken of but never around, and the ability to
throw cars at anything that really angers or startles her (it works
for Urusei Yatsura and Ranma 1/2).  Looking to see what happens
next. :)

I'd like to play my all time favorite Anime character Jariten from
Urusei Yatsura. He is just a small baby so if the GM wishes I could

hoping from the RP in here.. at the moment, I'm not yet certain if

Umm, I don't think that's really nescissary - as the one who said
please don't is the GM.  This is her site everyone, and she is being
nice enough to set up a game for us to play.  I think she allready
has a setting and a basic storyline, so lets not try to decide things
for her about this game. These things are hard to run online, so lets

them, and I've wished devoutly for *real* across-the-internet
hypnotic powers so I could, you know, make them pay attention to
others... (sighs) Ah well.

I tell you this: If *I* start doing that, boot me, please. (groans)
At least that way I'll know I was being an ass.

Well, I did say he's here to regain his strength (he's on vacation)
so he won't bursting into a frenzy of killing any time soon. Besides
since he doesn't have any real goals to achive around here he's much
more likely to just enjoy himself (which won't include mass killing)

P.S
The sword and owl will most likely be used as props, not as weapons.

when i said encounters i ment hypnoticaly speaking, weather all MC

to it. I thougt, our chars go to the same shool in an small city..
and than lets the story rolling.

Who to be, who to be...

I shall be random cute female Japanese character!

Her name shall be sally, Sally Ginkins.

She is your average Japanese cartoon character girl, cute, adores
puppies like things (such as... babies and puppies.) Led a normal
life, nothing very exiting, wants to be an actor and has a part time
job as a waitress while going to admissions looking for that big
break. No special powers I would say, might as well have some normal
character in this.

The photo is in the photo section, it's from some random cartoon or
comic or something I think, but sense I couldn't find out anything
about the character I just made up my own.

And lola, your english is perfectly understandable, at least your
not like me, english is my first language and i can't spell
anything, if it wern't for spellcheck what i write would be just
about illegable.

I think I will play the character of Setsuna from the game "The Last
Blade 2".

Setsuna is a demon, trapped in the form of a man (his physical form
seems like a man in his early twenties his eyes are light gray, and
his hair is white, for more look at the pictures in the files
section, if they aren't there they will be soon).

Setsuna's story begins in the year 1864 A.D., when an incident
involving the opening of a gate to Jigoku (or Hell, Hades, or
whatever you call it) released the souls of countless demons into our
world. One of his demons found shelter from the chaos of the battles
that raged around the gate in the dead body of a child, that
demon's "name" was Setsuna.

Half a year later Setsuna, now in his full strength tough unable to
leave his host body and seeking revenge upon both worlds, set out to
destroy (slaughter) those chosen by destiny to protect the gate of
hell, after defeating all six of them Setsuna entered back to the
underworld in order to extract his revenge on his home world.

Now 139 years later he returns to our world, after slaying more
opponents than he can count, seeking to rest from his bloody crusade
and regain his strength.

It has been established in the game that Setsuna has some mind
control power (he rarely uses it), he also carries a sword forged
from some black metal, which is called "the sword of seventy days"
and still holds the soul of the blacksmith who forged it, and is
sometimes accompanied by a gray owl (a manifestation of his powers).

Is this character acceptable?

Blaze Stryker is a bit of a odd duck, even for this crew. Regardless
of whether this is based in Jubustu Gakuen, he owes his being here
on that august madhouse, mostly thanks to the Occult club.

He's actually a Polymorphed elf, all of which came about due to a
summoning getting disrupted by one of the cultist-type goofups
freaking out on Gaiman comics and disrupting the intended Incubus
summoning completely.

Elsewhere (as in on a chat-channel in a IRC server) Blazestriker
spent his days as a fairly nonviolent, unmagical elf that got
treated like crap due to the aforementioned lack of magic. He went
into the world and became a Dominant and trainer of ladies, not from
hate, but from his desire to never be treated as Less ever again.

You can imagine his dismay at becoming outwardly human and trapped
in a world where most all his assumptions no longer applied.

He got over it soon enough though. His untapped power, the reason he
had no magic unlike most every elf in his homeworld, was simple:
*Psionics*.

As he struggled to learn the manguage and technology and ALL that
good stuff, he slowly developed mental talent, then used it to learn
what others knew of the world.. and it snowballed.

Now the ex-slavetrainer is a devoted Alchemist and Chemistry club
major, majoring in Biochemistry and Pharmaceuticals. He's in the
Mentalist, Saimin, and Occult clubs, though with a load that big,
it's usually by E-mail. Seriously, Blaze Stryker simply wants to
learn his talents to the best he can, the better to be free of all
obligations he doesn't accept freely.

If that's not too much, I'll mention there are pics of Blaze, before
and after his trip in, and a few others of the kind of thing he gets
involved in, @ http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/tranz2deep if there's
any interest.

Continuing a character into a different format like this may seem
odd, but for me it works.
