He rolls a d10 and adds it to 8 (Rockets damage value), rolling an 8 for a

As far as the document organization goes: i'm on page 38 or so and i haven't
seen one explanation of how to do saving throws, but they are mentioned
heavily in the first pages of the document (e.g. the racial descriptions) . i
finally saw the attacking mechanism 34. i would strongly recommend
explaining the overall mechanics before diving in to the details of racial
abilities, super powers, etc.

players, and i think the overall mechanics should be described to the reader

which is kind of like TSR releasing the Monster Manual before they release
the Player's and GM's Guides).

Wow, what a great effort!  While I did not go through the document with a
fine-toothed comb, I think that this would be a great TWERPS bible to print out
and give to players as a complete character creation sourcebook.  I wouldn't

the ST point, returns at the end of the adventure (which would contradict
the "permanent" wording).

It's "macros" - essentially, a short program that can be executed by

Word. MS programs have always had security problems - if you enable

them, you might find yourself sans a working computer.



Stick with PDFs in my opinion.



Tables, graphics - anything you want, really - can be put in a PDF file.



Download and install Open Office, open your DOC file, save as

PDF....Simple, can be read by anyone that has net access and the ability

to install programs.

Tables, graphics - anything you want, really - can be put in a PDF file.

Download and install Open Office, open your DOC file, save as
PDF....Simple, can be read by anyone that has net access and the ability
to install programs.

Actually, though it has significant penetration, "Most People" don't
have MS Word...not the latest version, anyway. MS doesn't even stick to
it's own formats.

I'd say 'most accessible' actually. All now have FREE applications that
can output in those formats.

Foxit Reader is faster, and has less of a memory footprint.
(It's free too, I think)

If you're running Linux, Acrobat is available, but I'm sure their are
open source (ie free) alternatives.

If you're using Linux, you're in the choir, actually....

Open Office - will open DOC files, output PDF files. It may now be
capable of opening DOCX files.

It's free, and as good as Word in my opinion.

RTF outputs are - erratic - in my opinion.

It's "macros" - essentially, a short program that can be executed by
Word. MS programs have always had security problems - if you enable
them, you might find yourself sans a working computer.

Stick with PDFs in my opinion.

Hi all,
   I introduced TAWH today for the first time to an audeance which had never even
heard of TWERPS.
   It is safe to say that the game was a huge success.  Characters included: Two
Battle Mages, one Gnome Holyman, one Elf Ranger, one Panther-Woman Beastmistress
who happens to ride a Unicorn, and a fleet footed human thief.
   The players filled a full demographic, from 12 to 45, males and female, first
time and veteran players...  I was able to get a lot of feedback, all good.
   So now if I can get some reviews from long time TWERPS fans...

Yeah, but how about something that most people actually hae...like Word?

Open office or NeoOffice can open it. Also the TextEdit on a mac can open it.

Open office and NeoOffice are both open source... There's also a plugin for
older versions of word that will let you open a docx.

I think it must have been written using Word 2007?  That usually defaults as a
DOCX format.  I couldn't read it either, and usually it's something saved using
2007 Word.
