Here are some pointers on how to come up with story idea's.
1) News papers old and new they can be from anywhere.
2) Old or new comic's short stories and the like.
3) Movies of note older crime drama's and thrillers.
4) Novels new or old crime mystery and even horror.
6) old and new adventure modules rules don't matter.
7) Places and people in your real life.

Where to get this stuff book stores old and new.
Libraries public, and various schools.
Turner classic movies and simular channels.
Used game stores, new game stores.

Don't be afraid to twist the plot or characters to what you need.

One adventure took place at a machine shop just like one I was working at.
Another adventure was based on an old Mac Bolan novel I read years earlier.
Another was loosely based an old crime film I had not seen but had read about.
I hope this helps Ferret.........
