Sealed Rounds
After three rounds of fierce fighting with Magneto crushing, Quicksilver darting
and Sentry
smashing we arrived at our final 16 players. With Magneto teams placing 1st and
2nd Phil
Lee's Magneto team managed to come first.

First Round of Knockout
The battle that stood out the most was seeing Matt Hardys KC Green Lantern
surrounded
by 3 of Jason's Mark III Sentinels but still managing to turn them all into
three heaps of
scrap metal.

Second Round of Knockout
We had our first Superman on Superman battle with Marlow's Superman managing an
impervious role and going on to win the battle between the Men of Steel. Green
Lantern
and his posse of ladies also meet their match this round with Jordan's Darkseid
and Cain
giving him and his women a good whupping

Third Round of Knockout
Another Superman vs Superman battle with Marlow's Superman crashing through a
wall
and attempting to smack Dan's Superman with a heavy object and actually missing
thus
losing the game. We also had Michael's Superman vs Jordan's Darkseid battle with
Darkseid winning courtesy of Superman being called away to catch the last
Spaceship
home (train to London) unlucky Michael you were looking unbeatable.

Semi Final
Jordan got a bye this round with his Darkseid crew so we had Dan's Superman team
vs
Steve Lidgett's all Marvel Ladies team. No matter what the ladies tried they
could not
compete with Supes who took his time and mowed down all the fair Marvel Maidens.

Final
Superman vs Darkseid, Dan vs Jordan with Matt smiling in the background with the
knowledge that his club was going to win. After the initial positioning both
Superman and
Darkeid managed to get a good hit in forcing both of them to retreat to there
medic's for
some much needed healing. Superman came back from his medic feeling invincible
and
managed to batter Darkseid and Cain into submission.

It was nice to see a final that wasn't just Superman vs Superman but the Man of
Steel still
won.
