I think that would be a very appropriate upgrade. A soldier serves in
an army, so one he is experienced enough, he could leave the army
position to fight on his own as a "warrior." Alternatively, you could
have him upgrade through military rankings, like "Commander"
or "General" or something. It might be cool to even have classes with
eventual options to promote multiple times...
