Hey everyone,
Our second Warmachine/Hordes Call to Arms League has officially
wrapped as of tonight! Thanks to everyone who played games and kept
the leaderboard moving!
Your league winners are Parker Gibson, Will Rutan, Tim Sczepanski,
and Marcus Yamashita. Great work gents! It was a hard-fought five
weeks, and the top spots were all within a few points of each other,
with everyone else only a few points behind them!
The next big Privateer Press Hoo-ha is the Summer Rampage event,
where the order of the winning factions determine next year's release
schedule after Mk.II releases in January! So, if you really really
really want your faction's book out first, come make it happen! More
details on this will be forthcoming in this space after I get them
from Privateer, and we'll all know more when the next issue of No
Quarter drops in a week or so. That issue will also include all the
new dish on the Retribution, so if you've been itching to play some
elves in the Iron Kingdoms for real, don't miss it.
And the second order of business: Our new Warhammer Fantasy Campaign
is finally ready to get shot out into the cold void of public
scrutiny after a meager 6 revisions, including some absolute eleventh-
hour table-time from myself and others to work out the last few
wrinkles. Thanks to Leland, Jack, and Michael for the last-gasp
playtesting. The full Campaign document should be up in the "Files"
section soon after I finish typing here, please check it out. We will
be running Fantasy games with the new Campaign considerations as of
tomorrow and all weekend, the official kick-off will be next Tuesday
the 7th with the map and the Grudge Board and all the trimmings.
So come down to the store tomorrow and play! I'll have my comp-
friendly Daemons (No Great Uncle... QQ) ready to take the table
against all comers. I probably won't be winning any of the battle
awards, but I'm pretty confident I'll take home the painting prize.
Unless, of course, we see some finished armies on the tables to
challenge me!
*throws gauntlet, looks at Fantasy players*
Don't forget we are open this Saturday for the July Dungeons and
Dragons meet-up, and 'Ard Boyz is next Saturday the 11th for all you
40k fanatics.
See you tomorrow!
