I'll hold my hand up for that one. Craig sent me the two new figures
to paint and asked me to take some photos of them unpainted for him. I
didn't have my usual camera so could only take pictures with my camera
phone....

Trust me, they're up to the usual standards!

Just to let you know, Bob Olley has sent me the photos of the upcoming
Lost Legion personality Figures. Commander Apus Lynx the battle
scarred war veteran, and the veteran Sgt.

Check them out in the Greens folder.

Ah, well! Still, I shall await them with eagerness! And how did the
Lost Legion get lost? Are they Proton Rangers or other force? By tghe
way, the bit in my last post about knights was definitely not a crack
at Sir Ganymede...I wouldn't dare!

Peter: Choosing my phraseology VERY carefully here, because
Intellectual Property lawyers rival the Mekon for fiendishness, take a
look - quickly, because Roger Webb of WSD is having a shut-down for
(hopefully) three months, at WSDs "Retrovians" for Treens. Some Orks
from the Evil Empire (TM) might do, too, as might Tau, painted green
not blue! The "Star Commander Grif Ingram" figure from Rattrap could be
painted to look like Dan Dare in spacesuit...at least, that'show I'm
going to paint mine...and if you choose the right head for the robot in
the same package, the robot would look a bit like "Robot Archie"!

Craig: That's great news! We need spacecrew that LOOK like spacemen,
not like knights with a spike fetish! Any chance of a "sneak-peak" at
the Star Patrol guys, or are you keeping them for a surprise? Oh, and
thanks for the Captain Gamma pic! I surprised myself by getting it onto
the masthead without mishap!

Hmmmm. I know WSD were heading in that direction with their planned
League of Space Nations Officer so I didn't want to tread on Roger's
toes.

However, when I sent my designs for the upcoming Star Patrol figures
to the sculptor, the comments I got back did make comparisons to the
Pilot of the Future himself, so they may suit your needs.

selling very well (according to my local Forbidden Planet shop). I

Well, I'll start the ball rolling! Craig, can we have some art for the
home page (or whatever it's called!) of this group? Maybe the GAFDOZ
front cover art, or perhaps a photo of Captain Gamma? I think I can put
up the former, and maybe the latter, but I thought it polite to ask!
So: what can we do? Possibly a list of character classes in GAFDOZ for
the "Captain Gamma" characters? Anyone want to post painted figures to
the "Photos" section?
