Re: [fudgecommunity] Re: Fate = Fudge 2?

Fate? That 3D $20 free-to-play online MMO?
Is that right?

Please tell me I'm wrong and as to which FATE you are referring.
Thank you.

Thanks all for your comments, very insightful. :)

i've been reading the Fate SRD (and the Diaspora SRD) and i am awed and
impressed with the work. the dedication of the authors are apparent and quality
is topnotch! Their focus is inspiring.

Now that i realize that Fudge will always be Fudge i.e. Eternal, i'll enjoy the
moment by playing Fate (and derivatives) and other Fudge stuff.

... and i will be on the watch for the next big thing in Fudge, something as
successful and popular as Fate. :)

Is Fate basically Fudge 2, a well designed interpretation of Fudge? Or is it a different animal altogether, just using Fudge Mechanics?...
