1. e4,e6 2. d4,d5 3. Nc3, NF6 4. e5, Ne4!? Black almost always takes
5.NxN of course f/b the obvious retake by black. This move 5 can be
used against the Tarrash as well, although it seems to be much less
effective. It does have SOME merit as I can find the position in
various databases with mixed results among masters. I play it in speed
games with great success, slower time controls with mixed results but
have never had an opportunity to turn it loose in a rated tournament
game. Would like to know if anyone else here has experimented with it
and what depth of analysis they have done and their results and ideas.
Thanks

F/B means followed by. Its shorthand, plus I thought that the logical conclusion of the sentence would be self explanatory. ... takes ... speed ... but ... ...
