I have a player on a list currently who has been incredibly lazy about getting
involved. I literally gave them a list of open threads (nevermind that they
could have searched for the word "open" and found them on their own), have
checked in constantly trying to get them going, have offered help, etc etc...
and I've gotten nothing. I was actually going to unsub them today but they
suddenly popped their head up after an admin message about being active in the
games.

But now they're dragging their feet about not wanting to post on this thread or
that thread and wanting to just sit on their character until... I dunno... until
the skies open and throw another player onto them by magic? I don't know.

I've tried to not rise to the bait of being as rude in return as I feel they're
being to me, but I honestly don't think I'm succeeding. Most people I can be
pretty even with, but when someone is both lazy and somewhat rude, I admit that
I have a hard time biting my tongue and not telling them to put up or shut up.
heh I usually manage to be slightly more diplomatic than that, but... not by
much in this case.

How do you keep from biting people's heads off when they deserve it? :P
