Frank and the cats made it back to the hardware
store without any other encounters. Once the sleigh was
washed down and the supplies taken into the kitchen he
realizes that he is going to miss his last two girls. The
gypsy was as honest as she said she would be and
nothing was taken. The other girl just had too much
responsibility with her dragons I guess. Looking into their
little cabin he sees that it is cleaned and still
stocked enough for someone else to move in. Corrine is at
the counter and several citizens are here shopping
for some things to repair the damage caused by the
sudden blizzard. After the supplies have been put away
Frank goes down into the basement and continues with
his work. That storm wasnt natural and now he intends
on finding the person responcible. That person is
going to need to be watched carfully. His thoughts are
elsewhere as he absently walks into the cavern and lights
it with a wave of his hand. Going down the ancient
stairs cut from the rock itself he at last comes to a
small pool of liquid with a faint green glow. "Hello
Mother." he says standing near the pool.

IC<br>Emeth sat down on the stool again, watching
everyone. There wasn't much else to do, and he was feeling
pretty bored, so he quietly slipped into a room he had
seen Pawoof go into.<br>"Hey, is there anytihng to do
around here except sit and watch everyone talk?"

-Pawoof sat by himself in the other shop,
relaxing and rolling his shoulders gently with an
observant look. He didn't want to return back to a crowded
room. He usually wasn't antisocial but he was feeling
it at this moment-

Jax woke blurrily and gazed about at the crowd of
strangers in his shop, mostly crowding around Sil who
seemed to be busy with preparing something for dinner.
He noticed immediately his head felt better,
deciding the negetive effects of his spell were wearing
off. He could still see Dael slumped down beneath some
blankets close to the fire and sighed. He'd hoped to have
Dael on the road by now, if the snow had cleared away
enough. There were parcels that needed delivering and he
just didn't have time to do it himself! <br> Standing
up cautiously, noting that Pawoof was just leaving
and looking to be a little aggrivated....well, he'd
be back in soon as food hit the table! Jax grinned,
and gave Garrian a pat on the back....."Good thing
you'er here to give Abare a hand. Where did everyone
come from!" He nodded to one of the strangers then
looked to Sil to tell him what was going on.

Griffen had finally come to an inn (I'm talking
about the NPC inn here). He decided this time he would
try to stay for more than a day.That would mean being
un-sarcastic for a whole 24 hours.......Griffen knocked on the
door and waited.

IC<br>After carefully locking the door of his
room, Miliardo got a small glass orb out of his
backpack, and set it down on the floor. He rested his hand
lightly on it for a few seconds, then started to speak in
a strange language. As he spoke, his voice became
deeper, and seemed to be coming from a long distance.
<br>The core of the orb started to glow, until it was
bright enough to light the whole room. After a few
seconds a hazy image appeared in the center of the orb,
and rapidly got clearer until it showed the inside of
the Four Winds. <br>Miliardo studied the image
carefully. There were a number of people there, although two
of them seemed to be asleep. Miliardo zoomed in on
one of the sleeping figures, a boy, but he was much
too small to be Emeth. The view inside the orb slowly
swiveled around, searching for Emeth. <br>The picture was
hazy and it was a huge strain on Miliardo to keep it
up at all. After a few more minutes of searching
through the room, he found Emeth. He was talking to a
woman. <br>Miliardo looked away form the ball, and
instantly the light and the image dissapeared. So, he knew
where Emeth was, now all he had to do was think of a
way to kill him without averting to much attention to
himself. <br>Right at that moment though, he wanted to
rest. He had a feeling Emeth would still be there there
in a few hours....

-Pawoof lifted the other stack and went to Abare
with a whisper- This is ridiculous. I will end up
sleeping in the other shop if this place is jammed
shoulder to shoulder of people needing a place to stay.
-He gave a look around before leaving to the other
shop to put away the stack-

IC<br>"I geuss I could do some work for you..which is just as well because I
don't have any money........"<br>Emeth said, wonderin why sil was aways so
suspicous.<br>"What do you want me to do?"

Sil's shrill voice must have wakened the sleeping
stranger caused he lurched awake, even without being
dusted by Sil's ever present broom. "Guess you can stay
if you want, but this ain't no Inn. Its Jax's place,
a magic shop for goods and services near as I can
tell." She gave Jax a hard look, seeing him sound asleep
at his desk in back. "You're welcome to stay but Jax
might expect some work out of you later, and don't
anybody plan on taken' something thats not theirs
personally." Sil gave the sleeping Dael a malignant stare.
"That's my son on the stool, Garrian." She pointed to a
small boy whose stature was that of a young
child...yeah he's small for his age and if that's a problem
with either of you....I want ta here about it now."
Sil eyes narrowed then softened as she stared back at
Garrian. "Either of you hungry? Might as well lend a hand
and we'll eat sooner." She pointed to a sack of
potatoes in the corner. "Plenty of work for everyone now,
and plenty to eat later. Hows that sound to you?"

Sil looked up as another stranger appeared
seemingly from nowhere....."Hey, you got business with Jax
or are you a friend of his?" She stabbed a finger at
Emeth. "Might as well come in too." She pushed a chair
toward the newcomer. "This blizzard must have trapped
alot of folks on the road. Is the inn turning
travelers out? We got room on the floor and food enough for
everyone, but Jax might expect a little work out of you in
return. As you can see we're fixin the place up.....Its
not always this big of a mess." Sil was glad Pawoof
had finished with the cabinates and saw that Abare
was nearly finished plumbing in the new sink. Staring
pointedly at Jhon she asked again...."You planning to stay
the night, I need to know if you'll be here for
dinner or not.'

Sil eyed Pawoof and put away the broom. She
studied the shelves against the wall behind Jax then
decided to leave them in favor of cleaning out some of
the cupboards. It soon became obvious that nothing
ever got thrown away and she stated a discard pile,
giving Abare a look that said plainly he'd better back
her up on it. Soon she had another stack ready for
Pawoof to take next door. "Abare, you never said
anything about those stairs Mr Frank mentioned. Think you
might ask him about 'em. I sure would like to think we
had us a basement here. From what he said it was
absolutely immense........That would solve alot of our space
problems wouldn't it. We could find room for everyone and
still be comfortable. You go ask him now Abare, even if
you have to wake him up, you hear me!" Sil grinned at
Garrian, giving the boy a knowing wink>

IC<br>emeth came awake suddenly, looking around
him confused for a second until he realized he had
dozed off. and there seemed to be someone else in the
inn. If Sil greeted everyone who came to the door in
the same way, he was in for a hard time..........

Abbi nodded her head and quickly memorized the directions. When the fellow was
gone she turned and entered the hotel...

Jhon was walking in town and saw a house/pub/inn(lol, sory didn't know what it
was.). He walked in and saw Emeth. He walked over to the other side and sat
awaiting the awake of the man.

Meanwhile, Emeth was starting to fell pretty
tired. He had been walking the whole day and night
before, and hadn't realized how tired he was. He tried to
stay awake, but in a few minutes he had drifted to
sleep.

"I doubt that" Miliardo muttered, looking around
for his horse. There were some very...interesting
people in this town.<br>He mounted the horse and rode
around for a while (slightly more slowly than last time)
until he came to an inn. He tethered his horse to a
pole outside, then went in and got a fairly expensive
room (He had plenty of money).<br><br>OOC: I was using
the NPC inn there, but I don't know what it's called
or it's location, so I <br>just said "an inn"

It's good to meet you Abbi. Take this road back
four blocks and turn right into the city centre. Go
past the jail and bakery then take a left for one
block and I have the two story building on the corner.
Mostly I need a stock clerk and cashier, but if you have
any other skills then we can discuss that at your
interview and to fill out the state required documents for
tax purposes. Wages are normal but I am flexible with
schedules so tell me if you have any requirements such as
worship services or anything else like that or school. If
you are going to attend school then I will match your
tuition payments. I guess I am a sucker for well educated
young people. I do recommend the scones at the bakery
for breakfast as well as their spiced teas and pizza.
Anyway I will see you tomorro when you are ready." says
frank as he lets her out of the sleigh. "See you
tommorro miss Abbi." he says then drives off at a high
rate of speed.

(Um, actually, I think it would be best if you
opened a shop. Trying to do a tavern would compete with
the Crossroads, which you can find at the top of the
list in Fantasy Gathering clubs. The town has a
nameless tavern run by NPC's simply so people can use it
when they need a place. But you are more than welcome
to open up another business. You can go to
Crossroads Tavern and Inn to buy the land in character.

"Sure, I'll be happy to do any work, for good pay
of course." She grinned "What does the position
require?" She was thrilled at her luck, offered a job, and
the first night in town! <br>When they got to the
hotel she jumped down off the sliegh,<br>"Well thankyou
very much for the ride Sir, saved me alot of trouble,
do I owe you anything?" she paused, checking her
pockets for some change. "Wheres this hardware store
located?" She asked, planning to check it out in the
morning. "Oh and I don't know if I mentioned my name, its
Abbi Tylora..." she grinned.

"Well sure M'lady. Hop up in my sleigh and I will
take you there. I dont think you would be comfortable
riding double on this mans horse." Says frank giving her
a smile and the other man an evil grin. "You should
watch out for fast moving sleighs mister. Next time it
could be FATAL." he says to him as he gets in the
drivers seat and then gets the Siberian Tigers to get
moving. "welcome to the Four winds crossing. It's a nice
little town and quite comfortable for everyone. If you
happen to be looking for a job later on I have a
position at the hardware store. This also includes a small
place to stay and plenty of work. My last two employees
disappeared on me and I need help. Let me know if interested
and I will come out and pick up you and any belonging
you may have." says frank just before he drops her
off at the small hotel in town.

Abbi walked up shyly, she didn't know what to
expect from these people.<br>"Um, excuse me, I was
wondering if you would be so kind as to direct me to any
Inns were I could possibly stay?" She looked slowly at
each person... " I hope I'm not interupting anything"
She added quietly.<br><br>OOC: I think I'm going to
give Abbi a southern accent...I think that would fit
her really well.

-Pawoof looked at Abare after Jax mentioned he'll do it and nodded- Great. -He
headed into storage and started lifting, to clear it out and omve it to the
other shop as Jax had mentioned-

approached the sleigh. <br>*Good* He thought *Someone else for me to ensnare.

O.O.C Hmmmm, well I think I could work around
that... lets see.<br><br>B.I.C Abbi woke up with a start,
damn it was only a dream. For a moment it felt as
though she was there, but alas no. She looked around and
could see a faint light or to in the distance, she
slowly got up with a groan and began walking towards
them, making a path in front of her and an energy feild
around her to block the snow. <br>The walk seemed to
take hours, she was scared that her legs would freeze
in the joints, for it felt like they were trying.
But she passed the time by singing softly to
herself.<br><br>She looked up gladdened, finally she was there. If
she could jump for joy she probably would. <br>' Next
thing to do, ask around for a nice Inn...or pub, I
could deffinatly do with a good drink right about now'
She mumered to herself. <br>She wandered through the
streets before coming upon three persons, and a bunch of
cats...<br><br><br>O.O.C I hope this is better, it's still early in the

(Welcome to the club! It's a good entry, except
that I'm afraid the Crossroads tavern and inn is not
actually within the town, but down the road from it. There
is a nameless hotel in town that Abbi can go to, but
it is run by NPC's, meaning you would have to
control the tenders yourself for the time being. For
entering a story, I suggest you read some of the current
posts -no need to go too far back- and try to come
across some of the other characters. A lack of reply
generally means that no characters are in your vicinity to
be -able- to reply. Have fun!)
