You are literally thrown off the small boat by a pair of large sailors. They don't seem happy about the task they have had to perform. Landing face first into the wet sand, you hear the sailors laugh. Anger surges through you as you get to your feet. You are about to rush the sailors when you hear a gun being cocked. Looking at the one soldier in the boat, his gun pointed at you head, you re-think your decision about attacking.

"Good, now you stay on the land and you might live another month!" the solider says. The two sailors laugh harder and begin rowing back to their ship, leaving you stranded on the island by yourself.

Looking to each side of you, you see nothing but beach forever. Several yards to your right you see the mouth of a river. Shrugging, you start toward it. As you approach, you get the feeling that someone is watching you. Stopping, you survey the brush to your left, but see nothing. Turning back to the river, you jump. A boy is standing in front of you.

He is wearing nothing but a loincloth and beaded necklace. His skin is dark, but not dark enough to be a native. He smiles at you and holds his hands to you palms up.

"Mistress Knight will wish to meet you."

Without waiting for an answer, he starts through the lush forest. Quickly you follow him, curious as to who he is and what is going on. The boy leads you to a small village. You are very surprised at this, as the natives are much farther to the north.

"Come, Mistress Knight is in her hut," says the boy urging you to follow him. You follow him to a hut in the middle of the village.

A tall Amazon woman stands in the middle of the hut. She wears clothes similar in style to a pirate.

"Welcome to The Village," she says. "I am Venus; many call me Mistress Knight. I rule The Village. I am fair but I will not fail to punish those who do not obey my law."

"Sean here will show you to a hut that you will share with others. Feel free to look around all you like."
